Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence

Fantastic place, the staff really care about the residents you can tell. The Rec staff is fantastic, they always have something going on for the residents to keep them engaged. The place is clean and well maintained. If you want to put a family member in a good home where people care this is the one. Great job to the management of this home, more Long Term Care Homes should be like this one!!

My brother is a resident here and is treated extremely well. He loves the food and the care is very good. He and my mom were admitted in November 2021 and sadly she passed away 12 days later. In my heart I know she knew he’d be ok at Bella and the staff have gone above and beyond to help him. Overall I would definitely recommend Bella for your loved ones. Clean , caring , and great staff

My mom Carmela was a resident at the Bella home in Chippewa from 2017 until Feb 2024. I gave them a one star and that is way more than they deserve. The original staff were 5 star all day long, but it only goes down hill from there. The residence Dr. Is terrible. I had to call in specialists to report him and correct him and the management on incorrect treatment of my mom many times. They were sedating her for no reason and without my approval and the support of a neurologist support for her Parkinson's disease. The specialist reported him and the home management of this abuse. They ignored mom at snack time and left her in bed for over 4 hour naps. Found mom soiled through her adult briefs many times to the point where I had them start a chart so that I can check timestamps on when they

My wife's father is at Bella now for a few months. We have felt blessed for the situation that he is in at Bella and the care he is receiving. His room is perfect for him and, while he grieves the losses in his life - his wife, his car and driver's license, his ability to do the things he used to do - he feels safe and well-cared for. At the same time, we feel good about him being in a place that we don't have to worry about wandering, falling in the night, and regular socializing.

Staff are great, pleasant and caring . I am happy and I have peace of mind that my mother is cared for properly.. From my mother’s comment she would love to have tasty food especially the soup she always say no taste mind you she was a chef in catering business when she was young so she’s particular with good tasty food . Overall great nursing home and clean .
