Costco Pharmacy

When I first switched to Costco several months ago, I thought it was great saving me about $35 a month. But it takes so long to get prescription filled, 2-3 days. Then you have to stand in long line most times about half an hour to pick up after driving 10 miles to get there. What if you needed to start antibiotics right away? I guess you'd have to go somewhere else for that.

If I could give zero, I would. This pharmacy never answers their phone! If they are so busy, the pharmacy manager should hire someone just to answer the phone. Does someone even work here?! Maybe they should all be replaced by someone who gives a damn about work etiquette.

I like the price of their pharmacy, but the technicians are super rude (one lady specifically is top) on multiple occasions and have even argued with me in regards to my own prescriptions on top of giving me the run around trying to switch my prescriptions over from London drugs. They never answer the phone, why do you even have a phone line to the pharmacy if you're not using it. Management should do something since this seems to me a common complaint, but alas it doesn't seem like they care enough.

I just got my prescriptions switched to Costco and couldn’t be happier! I love that I can see all of my info and order a refill online. I see some negative comments here mostly all about the phone, I did try to phone them and no one answered. Frustrating, but almost everything is accessible online once it’s all hooked up. Also, I was very impressed by the staff, they had so much more knowledge than my previous pharmacy. Low dispensing fee too! 👍

Impossible to get through on phone. Gave me incorrect info when I went in person (20 k drive). Tried on line to complete a 'membership' for their pharmacy as they say it will be easier...but then their system would not acknowledge my email and new password. Tried for over 4 hours to reach them on phone. Just doesn't work and they don't give a damn. Lots of their phone numbers on line are incorrect and then a staff person - in person...gave me wrong fax number so my doctor could phone into them. Costco has been going downhill in all respects for couple of years now. So disappointing.
