Excellent doctor and excellent staff. I say this in small part due to how medical professionals in this country seem to get trash-talked at by some patients a lot, but mostly I've just never had an issue with this doctor. Both he and his staff ate more attentive than my Endocrinologist in Ottawa has been, though she isn't that bad a doctor, either. The field of Endocrinology is just so technical unless it's for Diabetes which is more common than what I have. Anyway, I've not noticed any actual problems thus far. Yes, the clinic has office hours so staff cannot reach the phone 24/7. For that, you should be contacting an actual hospital instead. Oryour pharmacy. Words cannot even begin to describe what an absolute joke of an office this is, but I’ll try. Currently have strep throat, wanting a prescription for amoxicillin, but this office won’t even answer the phone. Called around five times in the span of an hour and not ONE answer. So I gave up and left a voicemail regarding my situation, told them to call me back at my number, but no call came. There have been plenty of experiences like this in the past, but this time it’s pushed me to the point of leaving a review. You are a doctor, regarded as one of the most important professions in society, partly responsible for the health of hundreds of people, yet how can you help your patients if you refuse to engage with them? This office is an absolute joke to Canadas health care system.

I have had no problems contacting this family practice office. I leave a message and they call me back within the hour. They have been nothing but courteous, professional and timely. Dr Torres was the only one who diagnosed my mother after multiple visits to her family doctor and then to emergency when her health failed enough to be admitted. He also took her on as a patient when l asked him to and followed up with all the regular testing she should have had over the years. This week l made a call to the office for my brother who had been in emergency the night before. The office called him within 30 minutes and got him in within then next half hour. They have called him everyday this week for phone checkups. Absolutely could not ask for more!!!

Dr Torres has cut me off serious opiate pain medication suddenly with no plan to wan or no one else to prescribe for me leaving me in dangerous life threatening withdrawals with no care in the world, he is highly negligent and has been not properly taking care of my health for years, I am going to report to the cpso immediately for abuse and harm by cutting my meds off suddenly with harmful results. He has destroyed my life and a doctor swears to never do harm to a patient. The office didn’t call me back for months for serious issues, told me they’d give me medically assisted death to get me off the phone, refused to fill out any of my forms that needed filling out that my parents chased the office for for months. Dr Torres has destroyed my life and the life of my family. I will never be able to forgive him for the damage he’s done to myself snd my family as well as my health. For years dr Torres ignored my pleas for help and didn’t do things he promised as well as disregarding the fact I was begging for help. He did nothing he said he was going to. Didn’t call during appointment times, his receptionists didn’t answer the phone ever or return emails. My health has been destroyed because of him. He randomly cut me off of pain meds causing a medical emergency that could have killed me. He had no care in the world that he was cutting me off randomly and that it could do me harm. My father begged him to not cut my meds abruptly bc of the serious danger he was putting me in and he ignored it and chose
