St Lawrence Eye Centre - Dr Kevin Leonard

Update. In 2021 I came to dr Leonard for help with my eyes losing *my vision severe eye pain etc to which he replied , there is nothing wrong with your eyes, today, 2025 I am screaming in pain in my eyes still no answers still no help. I lost my home over this can’t purchase a car bc it hurts my eyes the pain is unbearable. How can drs dismiss and fail to diagnose and test these issues? I have spent the last four years unable to function and screaming in pain bc no one will tell me what’s wrong with my eyes. While the drs go to work every day I have been unable to work while they live normal lives I sit at home screaming day in and out with pain in my eyes as an adult. No one should have to suffer with their eyes for this length of time with no help and be gaslit and told they are fine

My husband has been to see eye doctor about cataracts he and staff are very considerate kind thoughtful and the place is very clean

Dr. Leonard, in the two plus years that I've been his patient, has been exceptionally professional, thoughtful and supportive. The facilities at St. Lawrence Eyecare are faultlessly clean, and staff are always friendly, cheerful and helpful. I could not recommend him (& staff) more highly.

Dr S. Stevens is so kind. Our son had an allergic reaction that caused his eye to swell shut. The emergency department at BGH contacted Dr Stevens to get information. 2 days later I received a call from Dr Steven’s checking in to see how our son was doing. He was so kind, caring, and informative. Said if anything took a turn over the weekend to give him a call and he would make something work. We didn’t need to call or get him seen again as he healed quickly but as a mother it felt so reassuring that we had this contact with Dr Steven’s in case something serious happened over the weekend. Especially when majority of optometrists are closed. Thank you so much for your kindness and checking in with us.

Would not recommend at all . I went to get a rust ring removed. All staff was great until Dr stevens walked in the room attempted to remove the rust told me to keep my eye open this being the first day I could even open it he made a couple attempts getting ruder evey attempt . So I said I'm trying man and he said it will eventually come out walked out of the room came back handed me eye drops and walked back out of the room all he did was irritate my eye and didn't even remove the rust so beyond disappointed in his unprofessional attitude I will never be back to his office. And I will be suing him if something happens to my eye .
