Gina G Courtney, M.D. | Kaiser Permanente

Dr. Courtney was my son's pediatrician for many years. I was sad to learn we won't be seeing her anymore. She was a fun doctor with full of life and joy; my son always looked forward to seeing her as they would have good jokes and laughs. She would always made my son feel safe; and she and I would work together as a team. We truly had a good relationship with good communication, respect, and above all, I trusted her with by baby.

Dr. Courtney sounded good on paper which is why we picked her for our preemie baby. She was awful and I left the appointment in tears. She did not review my child’s file from the hospital and did not even properly introduce herself. She made it clear she was too busy to be bothered and directed us to contact the advice line with any questions in the future rather than contacting her. She did not care for us or our child after a difficult situation. One of the worst doctors I’ve ever encountered. She should not be working with children.

For this doctor she doesn’t even deserve one star; she deserves nothing at all. The rudest doctor I have ever seen if my life. She behaved very bad with me and my son. I waited for a long time so I gave my son my phone to play with it for awhile. When she entered the room she said put this phone away from him. I tried to take my phone from him nicely so he would not cry but the Doctor Gina didn't wait for a second and took the phone from a two and half years old kid roughly and threw it away to the chair . I was in shock for couple of hours that was very hard on me to speak up. She should not to be a doctor especially a pediatrician.

I received a letter saying that I had a phone call with her for my son 3 weeks ago. This never happened. My son doesn't have Kaiser Permanente and we have never seen this pediatrician before. Ever. I suspect fraudulent reporting of appointments that haven't happened and will be following up.

Dr. Is not serious about patients even few cases she didn’t bother to see the whole test report. I am writing the review because of due to her Neglency one of the baby is fighting with his life.
