Hildebrand Care Center

My mom lived in Hildebrand for almost 2 years before she passed away. We are incredibly thankful for the care and attention she received while there. Being we have many years of experience with facilities (my mom was in and out of them for 40+ years) this is by far the nicest option in Cañon City for your loved ones who need full time nursing care. The staff are great to work with. Thank you Hildebrand Care Center!

My dad was here a few months. At first I didnt think it was that bad and the staff seemed nice, But every time I would drive down from Denver somethig else would be bad. They wouldn't know where he was (the place was huge), they had him just sitting at the nurses station with nothing to do, there would be trash cans catching rain in the hallways, he would be lost in another hallway, or he had fallen again. We decided to move him out and he couldnt walk to help transfer himself, unlike when we moved him in. He was in intense pain, and once we moved him into the new facility they immediately discovered that he had a broken hip, 6 cracked ribs, and a fractured vertebrae. After two weeks in the hospital he was much better, but the damage had been done. Months later and I don't think we will e

Visited this Nursing home the other day for the re-opening of their ice cream parlor. As soon as you walk in you notice right away it is very clean and smelt nice. All the staff were extremely polite and helpful. Most of the residents were clean, up, and ready to join the festivities in smiles. This place is absolutely delightful! Enjoyed my visit every much!

The Hildebrand Care Center has been a wonderful experience. Our family and our family member who is a resident there, have been blessed by Hildebrand Care Center. Thank you so very much for taking such good care of our family member and being so very informative, helpful and empathetic towards the ones who love them. We are blessed by all staff in every regard.

A family member stayed here for several months while recovering from a stroke. Nursing, PT, and other staff were really kind, attentive, and helpful. The rooms weren't huge or brand new, but he was comfortable and enjoyed the social aspect a lot. We all enjoyed meeting other residents and patients, and I participated in some of the activities and outings with him, too. Personally, it was a little noisy for me, but I don't like my TV very loud, either, so maybe I'm more sensitive than the average senior citizen. So over all, a very positive experience for our family.
