I saw Dr. Evan’s for the first time as I fell down 14 steps. I’m a nurse so I knew that I didn’t break anything, which is why I didn’t go to the ER. However, my concern is if I needed any other supplies and/or instruction being as though my entire leg bent backwards behind my back as I rolled down 14 steps. I had pain in my ankle, knee and hip. I could barely walk. When I limped into the office, no one guarded me or asked if I needed a wheelchair. They also allowed me to limp out as well and I almost fell out of the front door. No one lifted a finger. When I was how I actually got injured, the doctor barely listened. I think I spent 4-5 minutes with him in total. He did NOT perform a full examination. I truly hope that they don’t try to bill my insurance company for services not rendered.
Dr Evans is a very professional.caring, knowledgeable doctor. His bedside manners is over excellent. He shows humbleness and cares for his patient takes time to explain every in detailed and listen to what questions you may have and answered them so that you can fully understand the whole process and procedure. Outstanding Dr. love him
Doctor pushed me into immediate surgery for an Achilles tendon rupture, saying I wouldn't walk normally again if I didn't have surgery ASAP. At the initial appt, I began to relate how I had injured my ankle and the doctor held up his hand to stop me from speaking. First post-op appt after surgery was 18 days later, much longer than protocol for post-surgery. Stitches came out 4 weeks after surgery but there was a wound left. 2 weeks later, another follow up, and the doctor says wow this wound doesn't look good, and he said he would contact a specialist and have them email me. Antibiotics were not offered. After 2 weeks of emailing photos while the infection grew, I got a new doctor. I needed another outpatient surgery and am still dealing with wound dehiscence {6+ months later} and h
Dr. Evans was very pleasant and so was his staff. Very pleased with the way he handled my situation.
Dr. Evans is very kind and the epitome of professionalism. I had a great first experience and I suspect it’ll be the same for my follow up appointment. The MVP of the office is most certainly Tanya. I can tell she’s the glue of the whole thing.
