I met Janice today during my first ever breast screening mammogram, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Janice was incredibly patient, attentive, caring, and gentle. She has such a soft, reassuring presence that immediately put me at ease and genuinely touched my heart. She is clearly in her natural field! Her care comes so naturally. She checked in with me every step of the way, reassured me constantly, and made sure I was okay at all times. Even though I’m 36 and definitely not a baby who needs constant reassurance, she made me feel completely safe and taken care of. It reminded me that reassurance truly has no age! We all need it. I've been reading the reviews of this hospital and I've seen they have gotten some bad reviews. I just wanted to say my experience with this hospital was great. I was suffering from appendicitis, the doctor diagnosed me correctly and quickly. I was given immediate treatment with surgery to follow. The staff were kind and professional. They kept me comfortable the whole time. The surgeons were confident, and saved my life❤️ My post op nursing staff were amazing and answered my bells promptly. The cleaners were fantastic, my room and bathroom was clean and sanitized regularly. I have nothing bad to say about my stay. This is an old hospital and everybody does their best with what they have to work with. I am grateful we have this hospital in Niagara Falls and am hoping it will stay open

Doctor Huq was very nice, got what needed to be done in a timely manner. Obviously I hurt now, but didn’t feel a thing besides the numbing needle. I didn’t catch the nurses name but he was a very kind filipino man. Had a nice little chat with him :)

I had gallbladder removal surgery Feb 12. I cannot say enough about the nurses. Every single one was so kind and so patient. The level of care was top notch.

I’ve had two different types of surgery at this hospital on separate occasions, and both times I was looked after very well. I felt safe and reassured before going under anaesthetic, and the nurses afterward did a good job taking care of me, despite the hospital being understaffed, which seems to be the case everywhere. The nurses who delivered my medication and checked on me were especially compassionate and comforting during my seven-day stay for cancer surgery. Their care made a difficult experience much more manageable, and I’m very grateful for the support I received.
