Outdoor Fit Physical Therapy

It's been exactly 1 year since I've started working with Dr. Wesley Kendall. I've had good experiences with PT in the past, but this by far exceeded my expectations. Most notable difference is how systematic and educational Dr. Wesley is. My intake was an in-depth consultation, with many many measurements on flexibility and strength of different parts of my body. And then systematic tracking and exercises to improve on them over the year. As I was progressing and increased my mileage an intensity, new imbalances popped up. With guidance from Dr. Wesley we have overcome or were able to manage them. He's explained physiology and biomechanics in plain language, and how body responds to various stressors (i.e. trail running vs road running). The results, though, is the most important part.

I attended physical therapy for about a year and a half for running-related mobility issues, and I can honestly say it made a huge difference. Throughout my time there, Wesley Kendall was consistently knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful about my goals as a runner. Each phase of treatment was adjusted as I progressed, and I saw steady improvements in my mobility, strength, and confidence with running. I also learned tools and exercises I continue to use to prevent future issues. I would highly recommend Outdoor Fit PT to runners or anyone dealing with long-term mobility challenges.

As a runner experiencing Achilles and hamstring issues, Wes put me on a recovery program that allowed me to build strength and maintain conditioning. He is great at diagnosing the issues and developing a plan that works for his patients. After my sessions with him, I'm back on track with my fitness goals.

I came in with a tennis elbow condition that also affected my shoulder and neck. Wesley did an outstanding job evaluating my situation, treating the issue, and guiding me through targeted exercises while carefully tracking my progress every step of the way. Beyond the effective treatment, Amanda handled the scheduling, billing, and communication seamlessly through their well-designed app and website — everything was organized and convenient. Last but not least, I truly enjoyed our soccer chats about Team USA’s road to the FIFA World Cup 2026 and the Champions League, which made each session even more enjoyable!

I highly recommend Wes at Outdoor Fit PT. I find him very knowledgable- he listens very well paying attention to your high level goals as well as the low level details, measures wherever feasible, gives a lot of manual therapy when necessary (sometimes the whole hour as opposed to many other PT's who give 10-15 minutes). He's gotten me through a hip & shoulder surgery rehab and I would trust him to help any close friend/family member of mine.
