Dr Ortiz went WELL above and beyond for me, even as a non-client prior to this appointment, and I am in his debt!! He took an after-hours call from the Urgent Care Facility that was tending to my “debris in eye/scratched cornea” concern for my visit. They called him after his office was closed (for Christmas weekend), yet he accepted their call, and offered to meet me at his office almost immediately. He quickly numbed my eye and found the source of the problem…rusty metal, which was totally unexpected. He had it removed in a matter of minutes, and just as he said, by the next day, felt nearly perfect. Had he not taken the time to see me after hours and that metal would have been in there for another 3+ days, I would have been in terrible condition, further light sensitive, and absent from
