Virginia Vision Therapy Center

We just finished up vision therapy and have been very pleased with the results. My son's field of vision has increased, his depth perception has improved, and reading is coming much easier for him. We've also noticed an improvement in his focus with schoolwork. Most of his sessions were with Daisha and I can't say enough good things about her. She made the sessions fun and engaging, to the point where my son never once complained about going to therapy. Thank you!

Both my son and I have been through vision therapy at the Springfield office and what a tremendous difference it has made! Especially for my son -- he was having so much trouble in school and being able to learn things. After his treatment here, he is now on the honor roll and I don't have to fight with him to do his homework (well, much!). We had several therapists, but Cindy and Sharilee were our favorites. They both have SO MUCH knowledge about this work and really listen to you during sessions to adjust the exercises for exactly what your brain needs at that time. I can't thank them enough!!

I want to start out with saying that I have incredibly high standards and each time I have had an encounter with ANY one at this practice I have been blown away with their attitude, professionalism, response time, efficiency, kindness. From Ruby and Lauren in the office, to Dr Johnson during the eval to Gabriel in Haymarket scheduling and rescheduling appts. I’ve also had encounters with the therapists and other admins but their names escape me. I can’t believe how great each of these individuals are at their jobs. I couldn’t complain if I tried. AMAZING people and practice. Thank you for such a wonderful experience each time.

Doctor Johnson, therapists Sienna & Daisha are professional, patient, and passionate about helping their clients to see better. My daughter has amblyopia (lazy eye) in her left eye and she has progressed with her vision therapy in the areas of reading, emotional and behavioral changes, and ocular symptoms. We were able to get a bit of reimbursement from our insurance and they do offer financial assistance. Vision therapy is pricey and worth it hearing my kid state she has improved distance clarity when looking through only her amblyopia eye!

We had a great experience with Dr. Johnson and the therapists at Virginia Vision Therapy. We went to the location in Springfield, which was very conveniently located. Every staff member from the receptionist to the doctor was extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. Dr. Johnson and the vision therapists there were able to help my son gain the skills he needed to correct his problem with focusing his eyes which greatly improved his ease of reading.
