Windsor Regional Hospital - Ouellette Campus

The food is 8/10. Healthy to eat real foods. The nurses give medicine right on time, even though sometimes they don't know how I feel. Dr. M. Azam Khan outstanding, excellent only few words to describe him. You will never go hungry on your stay. And the people who are with you as patients can be great fun at times. We can't forget the everyday heroes like cooks, maintenance, security, and house keeping who keep everything spotless and in check. Great 15 day stay at the the hospital.

I was brought to the hospital on October 13 and initially informed that I was cleared to leave. While waiting outside for a cab, information was later relayed to the physician that resulted in me being admitted as a psychiatric patient, despite no suicide attempt having occurred. My experience in triage was very concerning. While in a secure room, I was denied timely access to a washroom despite repeatedly requesting to use it. I was told I had “just used the washroom,” when in fact I had been changing a tampon approximately 20 minutes earlier. This led to significant distress and escalation that could have been avoided with basic communication and access to facilities. I am giving this a 4 star because of the service and care for my mother. My mother was admitted to the emergency and she did not get a room right away so the nurses were very helpful and kind and patient. I am very appreciative over the care that was given. I do want to mention one nurse in particular Brad who worked Sunday evening He was amazing, patient and kind. He went over and above and my mother was so happy. I also want to mention Dr James Colapinto for the thoroughness and his professionalism was exemplary as well as kind and patient. Thank you This review is on behalf of mother.

My 95 year old mom broke her leg and had the surgery here. The nurses on six floor were amazing! Every one of them including nurse students showed so much care, attention, and helped every time and every way my mom needed. Briana, Micaleh, Kyrie (student), and more, they showed so much compassion while dealing with difficult situations. We appreciate so much for their care and support so my mom could go through this difficult time smoothly. Thank you!

Went in for EEG and the staff was nice. The hospital was very crowded though and it's a maze. Be advised to come early to appointments as parking is a nightmare. The parking garage will show there's spots available but there isn't any so you waste your time driving up and down 5 stories looking for a spot. The outside parking is tiny.
